This is a Retail center currently open for business in the Surfside Beach South Carolina area. Spiral duct work was utilized for the air distribution to match the exposed ceiling look in the building. Metal halide lighting was used on the interior to brighten up the inside while decarative fixtures were used on the facade.

 

EARTHWORKS GROUP 2

The new EARTHWORKS' office building incorporated many energy saving concepts in the design. Instantaneous water heaters were used throughout the facility to prevent energy loss from storing hot water. The second floor has an open ceiling with exposed spiral duct work which has individual adjustable diffusers for occupants at each work station.

 

CDI

EARTHWORKS was responsible for the layout and design of this new reinforced concrete pipe plant in Horry County South Carolina. The design team worked closely with owners, equipment suppliers, and manufacturers to ensure all equipment requirements were accounted for in the MEP design.

 

Island Storage
(complete)

EARTHWORKS was contracted to do the mechanical, electrical, and plumbing designs for this 48,000 square foot temperature controlled storage facility in Brunswick County North Carolina. Energy efficient lighting and occupancy sensor controls were used in the storage units to minimize power usage. The project also included a detached sales building with living area above.
